I am a TCK – Third Culture Kid. I was born in Canada but spent many of my growing up years in Central Asia. My mother, my father and my wife are from three different countries. As an adult I have lived and worked on three different continents.
My life thus far has been an adventure. It can also be confusing. Sometimes I write to reflect on the past, sometimes to try to make sense of the present.
I am a teacher, husband and soon-to-be father. I teach Design & Technology and Food Technology in a special needs high school in the UK and think that everyone would benefit from learning more practical skills, myself included.
I am passionate about faith and about people. I love learning about history. I love to travel and to meet new people and explore different cultures. And the more I explore the more I want to catch a glimpse of the other side of the mountains…
Thanks so much for following my blog, I look forward to following yours. My daughter and son are TCK’s having spent most of their lives in various parts of Asia with us. I’m excited to read your posts! God bless!

Hey! My brother and I are TCKs as well. I love the theme of your blog. I especially found the post about the Afghani proverbs lovely. Writing and reading does help us make sense of ourselves 🙂
